Sloppy Joe Recipe:
1. Brown and drain 1lb ground beef.
2. Add chopped garlic (adjust quantity to taste, e.g., 10 cloves for a strong flavor).
3. Add seasonings (lots of onion powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, pepper) and let them toast for a couple minutes.
4. Add 8oz can of tomato sauce (roasted garlic tomato sauce recommended), 1 Tbs Dijon mustard, 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce, 1 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/3 cup ketchup, and 1 Tbs brown sugar.
5. Stir to combine and heat through.
6. Tip: If you need to keep it warm while other components cook, add 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer on low. The water will slowly evaporate, preventing it from drying out.
Broccoli Cheese Bake:
1. In a bowl, combine 1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup, 1/2 cup milk, onion powder, pepper, 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, and 32 oz of steamed broccoli (pre-cooked frozen broccoli is fine, just drain excess water).
2. Mix until well combined.
3. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes.
4. Remove from oven, stir well, and top with a sleeve of crushed ritz crackers.
5. Bake for another 10-15 minutes until the crackers are browned.
6. Tip: You can also use French Fried Onions instead of Ritz crackers for topping.
Enjoy your meal!
