Just a little encore for a recipe that’s been passed through the ages! This classic fruit pizza features a sugar cookie crust, a creamy frosting, and an assortment of fresh fruits, all glazed with preserves.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut cookie dough into ⅛-inch-thick slices. Arrange cookie slices, slightly overlapping, into 14x10-inch rectangle on lightly greased foil-lined baking sheet (if you’re making squares). (The creator noted: "I used a pie plate and only ended up using half of the cream cheese mixture and a quarter of the glaze"). Press slices together lightly with fingers to form crust. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Combine cream cheese and sugar; mix until blended. Spread onto cookie crust. Arrange fruit on cream cheese mixture. In small bowl, combine preserves and water; brush over fruit. Refrigerate until chilled, 2-3 hours. Cut into squares (or pie slices). Enjoy! 🥰
